Clarence SEALE

Mr. Clarence Seale, now a Sergeant, of the next contingent, obtained a month's
sick leave, owing to an injury on the right side of his face, which necessitated an
operation. It may not be out of place to mention that this non-commissioned officer,
about two years ago, whilst attached to the dispensers' staff of the Public General
Hospital, and stationed at Morant Bay, resigned his position, and proceeded to
Howard University to study for medicine and surgery, and after having had a very successful career, fired by the love of King and Country, he gave up his studies to
enlist for the army. This non-commissioned officer is stationed at the contingent
hospital camp as dispenser.
