It is with regret your correspondent refers to the
recent death of Dr. H. J. Evans, Surgeon Dentist who
died on the 31st ult.
The deceased was popular as result of his profound
sympathy with and true interest in the welfare work
around him. As a member of the Committee of Holy
Trinity Church he showed no laxity of purpose and
zealously performed his duties. In his profession he
was patient, kind, affable. And the funeral which passed
through the town to the cemetery and attended by a
large number of prominent citizens indicated
unmistakably the impression of the community as well
as the esteem in which he was held.
